Community Comfort Patrol Programme

First official collaboration between the Government of Trinidad & Tobago and the private security industry. A highly successful crime prevention initiative through the introduction of neighbourhood patrols across the country.​

Managed by SAS and over its duration encompassed 120,000-man hours per month involving 400 operators. Over 187,000 patrols were conducted throughout the country with approx. 700 calls for service

Utilized the human resources, technological innovation, vehicle fleet, information and communications infrastructure and management expertise of the Private Security Industry to increase the response and visibility of mobile patrols

The programme was deemed to have exceeded expectations. Citizen satisfaction and ‘fear of crime’ levels were significantly reduced with increased calls for service and programme replication across a wider community base (from 4 to 15 geographic sectors and +23 communities in one year).

Basic Security Officers Training Course

Prepares individuals for employment as proprietary and contract Security Officers in Trinidad and Tobago. The 40-hour entry level course will expose the learner to a well-balanced curriculum in security studies applicable to all environments of the Private Security Industry.
